Job summary

United Contractor Services is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to manage complex commercial projects across the United States. The role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strict safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in commercial construction, can travel nationwide, and is proficient in reading blueprints and managing schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial construction experience
• Willing to travel nationwide to project sites
• Proficiency in layout of complex construction projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and structural drawings
• Proven experience managing and maintaining project schedules
• Excellent communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Comfortable using technology and cloud-based reporting systems (training and tools provided)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, from planning and scheduling through completion
• Coordinate daily with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain workflow and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Lead and supervise construction crews, providing direction, support, and accountability
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders
• Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety aligned with industry best practices
