Salary Range: $66,000−$79,000/year

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Dispensing: Retrieve, count, and label medications under pharmacist supervision; refill automated dispensing systems.
• Inventory Management: Order, stock, and audit medications/supplies; handle recalls/expired drugs.
• Sterile Compounding: Prepare IV medications, maintain cleanroom compliance, and document hood pressures.
• Patient Interaction: Triage pharmacy window/phone requests, process refills, and assist with billing inquiries.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to pharmacy laws, complete controlled substance documentation, and support quality assurance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid [State] Pharmacy Technician license + National Certification (PTCB).
• Experience: 5+ years in hospital, retail, or clinic pharmacy.
• Skills:
• Sterile compounding & hazardous drug handling.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Pyxis, Epic).
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Physical Demands: Lift/push up to 30 lbs; stand for extended periods.

Preferred Certifications

• Clinical/High-Risk Competency (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
