Love to Travel? Thrive Under Pressure? Are You the Person Who Makes Everything Happen Behind the Scenes?

Are you highly organized, resourceful, and someone who can find a solution before others even realize there's a problem?

Do you enjoy working in fast-paced environments where no two days are exactly alike?

Are you comfortable traveling across the country, managing moving parts, and taking ownership of the details that keep an operation running smoothly?

If you're looking for a traditional desk job, this probably isn't it. But if you're ready for a hands‑on career that keeps you moving, PopUp Smiles wants to meet you!

This position requires flexibility, physical stamina, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly when plans change. Travel can be frequent, days can be long, and unexpected challenges are part of the job.

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs to happen next. Someone who takes initiative, stays organized under pressure, and understands that the success of every Dental Day starts long before the first patient arrives.

For the right professional, this role offers the opportunity to travel nationwide, gain hands‑on operational experience, and play an essential part in bringing dental care directly to communities across the country.

About PopUp Smiles

PopUp Smiles is an innovative mobile dental healthcare provider headquartered in Newport Beach, California. We specialize in bringing high-quality, comprehensive dental care directly to workplaces, schools, residential communities, and underserved areas throughout the United States.

Our mission is to make quality dental care more accessible by meeting patients where they are.

As we continue expanding our nationwide operations, we're building a team of dependable, solutions‑oriented professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.

Position Overview

PopUp Smiles is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable National Traveling Logistics Coordinator to support our mobile dental operations across the United States.

This is a full‑time, hands‑on position requiring extensive nationwide travel to coordinate the transportation, setup, breakdown, inventory, and operational readiness of our mobile dental equipment and supplies.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that each Dental Day is properly prepared, organized, and executed efficiently.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, comfortable with physical work, and able to remain calm and solutions‑focused in a constantly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Field Operations
  • Travel nationwide to support scheduled mobile dental events and field operations.
  • Coordinate the transportation, delivery, setup, and breakdown of dental equipment, supplies, and operational materials.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are available, organized, and ready before each scheduled Dental Day.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and safely transporting equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate logistics between multiple locations and assignments.
  • Support efficient transitions between scheduled events and locations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional workspaces.
Equipment & Inventory Management
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory of dental equipment, supplies, and operational materials.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
  • Coordinate equipment servicing, replacement, and troubleshooting with appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor supply levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and logistics documentation.
Operational Coordination
  • Collaborate with field managers, clinical teams, and operations leadership to ensure smooth execution of scheduled Dental Days.
  • Communicate proactively regarding equipment needs, delivery timelines, and operational challenges.
  • Troubleshoot unexpected logistical issues and implement timely solutions.
  • Assist with coordinating vendors, deliveries, and transportation arrangements.
  • Follow established operational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Provide additional on‑site operational support as needed.
Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience in logistics, field operations, inventory management, transportation coordination, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to perform hands‑on physical work, including loading, unloading, and moving equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile applications, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, extended days, and occasional weekends.
  • Dependable, punctual, adaptable, and detail‑oriented.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting mobile healthcare, dental, medical, or field service operations.
  • Experience with equipment transportation and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with logistics scheduling, routing, and vendor coordination.
  • Previous experience working in a nationwide traveling position.
  • Basic mechanical or equipment troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.

Dental industry experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance‑based bonus opportunities, if applicable.
  • Employer‑covered approved business travel expenses.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Travel & Physical Requirements

This is a nationwide traveling position requiring extensive time away from home.

Candidates must be comfortable with:

  • Frequent travel to various locations throughout the United States.
  • Overnight stays and extended assignments.
  • Early mornings, long operational days, and changing schedules.
  • Physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
  • Working in different environments, including mobile dental units and temporary clinical setups.
  • Responding to unexpected changes while maintaining professionalism and operational efficiency.
  • Working independently and collaboratively with field and clinical teams.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and understands that small details can make a big difference.

Someone who doesn't panic when plans change, but instead focuses on finding the next solution.

Someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, support their teammates, and do what it takes to ensure each Dental Day is operationally ready.

This isn't a position for someone looking for a predictable 9‑to‑5 routine.

It's a demanding, hands‑on role that requires accountability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

For professionals who enjoy variety, travel, and seeing the direct results of their work, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing national healthcare organization.
