Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced leaders for Electric Transmission Senior Project Manager and Seller/Doer roles on a national basis. Location is flexible; candidates with strong client relationships will develop and win work across transmission projects from concept to completion.

The roles require directing multi-disciplinary teams, leading business development, and delivering environmental and engineering services from routing and siting to permitting and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably graduate degree in environmental sciences, urban/regional planning, environmental policy, environmental studies, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, environmental assessments, and permitting in the US.
• Existing client relationships in the transmission market and proven track record of winning work.
• Experience with planning, permitting, design and construction of transmission facilities.
• Knowledge of state siting and permitting; NEPA and FAST 41 a plus.
• Proven leadership for project teams and meeting milestones.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture client relationships and respond to opportunities.
• Sell environmental and engineering services for siting, development, design, construction, operation.
• Lead proposal development, marketing, and client meetings.
• Build and manage cross-functional project teams nationwide.
• Ensure safety, quality, profitability, and compliance with standards.
