Job summary

Google Public Sector in Reston, VA is seeking a Technical Program Manager for National Security to lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs within government and defense sectors.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage requirements, schedules, and risk, and communicate with executives and engineers alike while ensuring secure deployment of Google Cloud Platform solutions to national security customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in technical program management or technical leadership roles, including cross-functional projects.
• Experience in the U.S. Government within the last 6 months, specifically in the Intelligence Community (IC) and Defense, including technical leadership roles.
• Experience delivering digital implementation projects to national security and defense organizations.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution by structuring vague business requirements into actionable technical execution plans.
• Provide leadership and influence in customer pursuits and deployments.
• Act as a technical thought leader to influence cross-functional teams and manage dependencies with minimal authority.
• Lead pre-sales scoping engagements for seamless transition into delivery of Google AI and Security solutions.
