Job summary

General Infomatics, Inc. (GI) supports the TRMC Internship Program (TRMCi) providing paid, full-time, temporary intern positions for Summer 2027. Interns work onsite at DoW MRTFB locations, engaging in hands-on research, engineering, cybersecurity, and technical roles with mentors.

Per diem, lodging, and travel support may be provided based on duty station and eligibility. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with a 10‑week program duration from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of War Secret security clearance.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be available to participate full‑time for the entire 10‑week internship period, June 7 through August 13, 2027.
• Participation in TRMCi may be subject to eligibility restrictions with other federally funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Support research, engineering, cybersecurity, and technical projects at an assigned DoW test and evaluation location.
• Apply STEM coursework to real-world defense challenges in test and evaluation.
• Conduct data analysis, modeling, software development, prototyping, range operations, or other technical activities depending on placement.
• Collaborate with mentors, engineers, and fellow interns to solve complex problems.
• Participate in required TRMCi program activities.
• Present technical findings and recommendations at program closeout.
