Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seeks individuals for the role of Special Agent to protect the nation from cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and evolving dangers. The position emphasizes investigations, national security expertise, and collaboration with multiple agencies.

Applicants must meet strict requirements, including citizenship, education, clearances, fitness, and medical standards. Salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 per year, with locality and availability pay.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Possess one (1) year of full-time sworn law enforcement experience and a bachelor's degree or a master's/doctorate or two years of experience with a bachelor's and advanced degree.
• Be eligible for a Top-Secret SCI Clearance.
• Be able to legally possess / carry a firearm.
• Be at least 23 years old and not have reached your 37th birthday on appointment.
• Meet FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Must pass the Physical Fitness Test requirements.
• Meet medical requirements.
• Possess a valid driver's license with at least six months driving experience.
• Available for assignment to any FBI field office; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws.
• Exercise judgement and resourcefulness in investigative demands.
• Create and maintain liaison with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international agencies.
• Coordinate and/or participate in searches, seizures, and arrests.
• Carry a firearm and be prepared to use force if necessary.
• Maintain physical fitness to perform duties.
