Requirements include U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s degree or higher, eligibility for Top-Secret SCI clearance, and 2 years of federal law enforcement experience.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university; current Federal Law Enforcement Officer, 1811 (2501s considered) as applicable.
• Be eligible for a Top-Secret SCI Clearance.
• Have 2 years of continuous full-time federal law enforcement experience (1811/2501s considered).
• Be able to legally possess/carry a firearm.
• Be at least 23 years old and not have reached your 37th birthday on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws.
• Exercise judgement and resourcefulness in meeting investigative demands.
• Create and maintain liaison with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial and international law enforcement agencies.
• Coordinate and/or participate in searches, seizures, and arrests.
• Carry a firearm and be willing to use force, including deadly force if necessary.
• Maintain a level of physical fitness to perform law enforcement duties.
