Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL for data wrangling, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience applying ML methods to real-world data problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to explain results to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data using statistical methods and the scientific method.
• Coordinate research activities using diverse data points and programmatic data cleaning.
• Experiment with data, provide actionable insights from results, and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build data environments and pipelines.
• Apply scientific methodology, statistics, and algorithms to identify problems and opportunities.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive modeling, NLP, and related ML techniques.
• Design and automate data manipulation and integration across datasets.
• Use Spark and Hadoop for large-scale processing; visualize in Tableau/Power BI/R Shiny.
