Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Chicago/Detroit area is seeking a National Retail Account Manager to grow Home Center and Co-op sales across MI/IL/WI/MN/NE/IA.

You will build strong relationships with store leadership and coordinate regional programs to boost product visibility and profitability. Responsibilities include leading two Retail Sales Representatives, delivering training sessions, presenting POS activity, and collaborating with Marketing, Product Management, and TSRs to align sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience in retail construction sales and/or training.
• National Accounts experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM and SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships at store and regional levels with customers and service channels.
• Create and coordinate National Retail programs/projects to increase sales and profitability.
• Lead and develop two Retail Sales Representatives through coaching and performance management.
• Demonstrate product installation procedures and deliver trainings/workshops.
• Coordinate with regional personnel to meet Home Center needs and resolve issues.
