Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is offering a National Nurse Resident program that provides hands-on mentorship, feedback, and a supportive team to help you grow from day one.

You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care, manage treatments, monitor vitals, and educate patients and families while advancing in a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Associates Of Science Nursing degree required.
• WA RN license required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Administer treatments and track vitals as part of daily nursing practice.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and engagement in care.
• Engage in the Nurse Residency Program for ongoing clinical and professional development.
• Contribute to safety and quality improvement efforts within the care team.

• Evidence-Based Clinical Practice: Utilize the nursing process, critical thinking, and clinical skills (assessment, planning, and treatment) to deliver holistic, high-quality patient care.

• Associates Of Science Nursing and 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience, upon hire and
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 30 Days and

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing, upon hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 - months or
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 - months
