Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking a Traveling Driver – Rail Crew Transport to safely move railroad crews across the United States and support critical rail operations. As a Contingency Driver, you will travel to diverse locations nationwide, with transportation, lodging, and travel-related expenses covered while on assignment.

PTI has a long history of keeping railroads running smoothly. This role focuses on safe, professional driving and contributing to essential infrastructure

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must pass post-offer drug screen, MVR, and homeland security background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport railroad crews to and from job sites.
• Travel nationwide based on operational needs.
• Follow all safety, DOT, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain professionalism while working independently and with railroad partners.
