Job summary

ResourceMFG in Shelbyville, TN is hiring for Material Handlers on 1st Shift. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and moving materials, operating forklifts, and coordinating with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Coordinate material priorities with warehouse and production teams.

• Pick, pack, stage, and deliver materials
• Collect production returns, verify quantities and condition
• Complete inventory transactions and supporting paperwork
• Perform stock checks and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry picker
  Drive company truck between facilities- Blue Ribbon to Sharpie Way
• Coordinate material priorities with warehouse and production teams
