Burns & McDonnell seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineering leader to oversee the nationwide OSEP Mechanical discipline, driving leadership across offices and ensuring delivery excellence. The role prioritizes annual objectives and develops best practices and standards to position the firm for growth.

You will lead multi-office teams, recruit and develop mechanical talent, and shape strategy to differentiate solutions, improve delivery, and optimize costs while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 7 years related professional experience in mechanical engineering leadership across major projects/programs/clients.
• Professional License as a Mechanical Engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct most significant programs and utilize leadership to arrive at best solutions and delivery practices.
• Organize, lead, and inspire collaboration across all OSEP Mechanical teams to advance best practices.
• Collaborate to recruit, hire, and develop mechanical capability expectations and leadership across the organization.
• Develop market-differentiating solutions that drive project value, brand, and competitiveness.
• Expand delivery practices and ensure cost-effective delivery through high value engineering centers and automation.
