DC Army National Guard seeks a Truck Driver who will operate wheeled vehicles over diverse terrain, manage cargo loads, and ensure safety of personnel being transported.

Training spans 10 weeks of Basic Training and seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT). You’ll earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance.

Benefits include health care, Montgomery GI Bill, retirement benefits for part-time service, and a 401(k)-style savings plan.

Competenze

• Must be a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

• Oversee and check loading/unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers.
• Employ convoy defense techniques.
