Job summary

• Proven experience in industrial electrical systems, especially in a field service capacity.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Job Overview

Join the Komatsu US dealer network as a National Field Service Electrician focused on surface mining equipment throughout the US. This role is pivotal in ensuring reliable and efficient operations for our valued customers across the nation. As a member of our Field Service business unit, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

As a National Field Service Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components on mining equipment and machinery. Experience with field welding or machining is a plus.Your primary focus will be on delivering top-notch service to our customers, ensuring that their equipment is safe, reliable, and performing at optimal levels. This position involves a significant amount of travel to various job sites, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

With this role you'll be traveling on the road across the United Statesup to 6 weeks at a time, with 1 week off. This job could take you anywhere in the US, with many current electricalprojects coming up in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico.
