Job summary

Immunocore is seeking a National Account Manager to engage payer stakeholders, educate on product value and reimbursement, and manage key national accounts for optimized access. Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years with large national accounts (payers, PBMs, GPOs).
  • Proven credibility with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Experience with oncology and rare disease/buy-and-bill products.
  • Strong background in finance, budgets and contract leverage.
  • Bachelor's degree required (BA/BS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver value proposition and educate payer stakeholders on current and future product/indications and economic benefit and reimbursement.
  • Facilitate meetings and network with national account contacts to ensure product access.
  • Account management of select key national accounts identifying ways to partner that ensures product access and provider education.
  • Execute Immunocore identified managed market initiatives to a high level of achievement.
  • Demonstrate national account knowledge and leadership to liaise with internal stakeholders (including cross functional teams such as Marketing, Operations, Trade and Sales Leadership teams).
  • Communicate effectively with the commercial team on relevant market trends.
  • Operate in full compliance of company policies, local codes of conduct and ethics, corporate governance, and applicable law, including FDA's Guidance on "Drugs and Device Manufacturers Communications with Payors, Formulary Committees and Similar Entities - Questions and Answers."
  • Provide Health Care Economic Information (HCEI) to payers. Responsible for communications with payors, formulary committees and similar entities, appropriately collaborate with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development.
  • Implement business in accordance with the highest ethical, legal and compliance standards, including timely and successful completion of all required training.
Education, Experience and Knowledge
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience and proven success in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience of successful track record with large national accounts, including payers, PBMs and integrated customer groups (i.e. Group Purchasing Organizations).
  • Previous existing relationships with assigned accounts is critical.
  • Relevant Oncology and Rare Disease/Orphan Drug experience with buy and bill product(s).
  • Proven credibility in gaining access to key decision makers and influencers.
  • Field sales management experience preferred.
  • Successful experience in product launches and contribution to and execution of launch strategies/tactical plans.
  • Strong financial background and analytical skills.
  • Strong analytical, account management and negotiation skills (previous experience with large payer contract a must).
  • Strong networking, quarterback and leadership skills.
  • Action oriented with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Experience at leading high-powered teams without direct responsibility for managing.
  • Ability to manage and measure results/performance.
  • Demonstrates strong bottom-line orientation with financial & budget responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree - BA/BS required

Annual salary range for US

Annual salary range for US: This position is eligible for standard Company benefits, including medical, dental, vision, time off and 401k, as well as participating in Immunocore's annual incentive plans. Incentive plans are contingent on achievement of personal and company performance. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. $190,000 - $235,000
