Job summary

Right at Home is hiring compassionate caregivers to join our in‑home care team serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties. You will provide companionship and personal care to seniors in their own homes, helping with daily activities and mobility.

We offer flexible shifts, on‑the‑job training, and a supportive work environment. A valid HHA and/or PCA certification in New York is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certificate required.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick and ability to handle job demands.
• Must meet health and immunization requirements for direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home companionship and personal care to seniors.
• Support clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Work flexible shifts across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
• Participate in on-the-job training for diverse client needs.

Must Haves:

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
• Hold a current valid Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certificate from New York State
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care (copy of a medical physical within a year and proof of immunization titers)
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
