Do you love video games and also have a passion for writing? We're looking to expand our writing team at Candywriter with a talented Narrative Designer to contribute content to BitLife.

BitLife is a text-based narrative simulation game in which players take control of someone's life from beginning to end. Life—and death—are in the players' hands!

YOUR MISSION

• Create compelling stories and scenarios that keep our players engaged with new content

• Write and edit UX copy and in-game messages to immerse players

• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and devs to align story with gameplay

• Develop creative content for events, updates, and live ops

• Contribute to brand voice and marketing narratives where needed
  
  

YOUR BACKSTORY

• Detail-oriented and collaborative

• Familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT, Sudowrite, or similar—and know when to use them (and when not to)

• 2+ years of writing experience in games, entertainment, or digital media

• Strong storytelling chops, especially in short-form and interactive formats

• A deep understanding of mobile gaming trends, genres, and player motivations

• Excellent English grammar, editing, and creative revision skills

• Comfort working with deadlines and adapting to evolving game designs
