LEARN Academy in Napa, CA is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate students, develop and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals across school settings. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to provide comprehensive support.

The role focuses on evidence-based practice, PATH and collaboration, with opportunities to mentor staff and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Additional state teaching certification or credential may be required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of articulation, fluency, voice, and expressive and receptive language.
• Develop and implement speech and language therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and educational needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and contribute to the IEP process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Provide expertise in assistive technology and communication strategies.
• Participate in team meetings, provide staff training, and mentor or supervise assistants or students as appropriate.

What You Have
