Job summary

Uloop Inc. in Seattle seeks a devoted nanny to start November 2nd, 40 hours/week, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM. You will care for an infant, follow a feeding and sleep schedule, and document daily activities with care and consistency.

Responsibilities include diaper changes, hygiene, tummy time, outdoor walks, language-rich interaction, allergen introduction under parental guidance, and meticulous bottle and toy sanitation. No screen time.

Qualifications

• Engage in language-rich interaction; no screen time for baby.
• Prepare and feed solid foods as per parents' recipes and plan.
• Record daily logs of feeding, sleep, and diaper changes.

Job description

We want a nanny to support our family starting November 2nd, with some flexibility. It will be 40 hours a week 7:30AM to 3:30PM.

• Feed bottles and solid foods according to the baby's schedule, track feeding amounts, and burp the baby as needed
• Put the baby down for naps and manage the nap schedule, strictly following safe sleep guidelines: always place the baby on their back, with no blankets, pillows, or stuffed toys in the crib
• Change diapers, dress the baby, and handle basic hygiene care, including eczema care (apply medication twice daily) and baths three times per week
• Provide tummy time multiple times a day to support gross motor development
• Take the baby on stroller walks outdoors daily when weather allows; switch to indoor activities in bad weather
• Engage in language-rich interaction, such as reading books, talking, and singing
• No screen time for the baby
• Prepare and feed solid foods following the recipes and meal plan provided by the parents
• New foods, especially common allergens such as eggs and peanuts, will be introduced by the parents at home first; the nanny will only offer them after the parents confirm the baby tolerates them well
• Clean and tidy the baby's play area during naps
• Wash and fold the baby's laundry
• Clean and sterilize bottles, feeding utensils, and toys
• Keep a daily log of feeding amounts, sleep duration, diaper changes, and any notable events (via an app or on paper)

Salary $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
