Job summary

We are a busy family in Charlottesville seeking a reliable, energetic caregiver for 20–30 hours per week from 2:30 to 6:30 PM, four to five weekdays. Responsibilities include school pickups, transportation, and activities for five children (ages 1, 1, 5, 7, 9) with two dogs.

There are opportunities for additional evening and weekend hours, including sports events and occasional house or pet sitting. Must be comfortable with pets and have own car.

Hi!We’re a busy, friendly family with five children (ages 1, 1, 5, 7, and 9) and two big, lovable dogs! We’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and energetic to become a regular part of our family.We’re hoping for 20–30 hours per week, primarily helping with school pickups, transportation, and activities between 2:30–6:30 PM, four to five weekdays per week.We also have opportunities for additional hours on evenings and weekends, including sporting events, date nights, and occasional house or pet sitting. We’d always offer these opportunities to you first.Some help with light cooking or household tidying would be wonderful, but certainly isn’t a requirement!We offer $35/hour, plus mileage reimbursement, with 20–30 guaranteed hours per week. We’re happy to work together to establish a consistent schedule.Most importantly, we’re hoping to find someone interested in a long-term role, ideally staying with us for months or years to come!
