Job summary

Belk is seeking a Nail Technician to provide professional nail and skin services in a high-volume salon setting. The role reports to the Salon Manager and requires a valid cosmetology license, plus 2–5 years in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry.

You will meet service and retail goals, build a client base, maintain client cards, and participate in ongoing education. Strong communication and a team player attitude are essential to thrive in our mall-based salons across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current board certified cosmetology license.
• 2–5 years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals.
• Acknowledge the client within a reasonable time of checking into the salon.
• Build a client base by recruiting New Request Clients and maintaining Customer Client Cards.
• Provide quality professional service through technical skills and prescribing appropriate retail products to clients.
• Respond professionally to customer service issues and promptly addressing complaints.
• Exhibit good communication skills.
• Engage in ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current industry issues.
