Job summary

Pretty Good is seeking a Nail Technician / Beautician to join our beauty salon team. You will perform manicures, pedicures, gel extensions, nail art and other beauty treatments with strict hygiene standards.

The role requires a professional client-facing presence, reliability, and the ability to work well with others. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with opportunities for ongoing training and skill development.

Qualifications

• Punctual, reliable and disciplined in daily work routines.
• Professional presentation and client-facing manner at all times.
• Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues during busy periods.
• Open to feedback and coaching from colleagues.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required by salon operating hours.
• 1–2 years of experience in beauty-related establishment preferred.
• Relevant certification in nail technology or beauty therapy is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Good communication skills and customer service experience is a plus.
• Genuine passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn new techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform manicures, pedicures, normal polish, gel and extension application, and nail art with precision and hygiene standards.
• Carry out beauty treatments
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable services
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized workstation in line with health and safety standards
• Build rapport with clients
• Stay updated on the latest nail and beauty trends, techniques, and products
• Manage appointment scheduling and time efficiently to minimize client wait times
• Handle retail recommendations where applicable
