Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry.
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone.
• Conduct sanitation procedures including disinfection of tools and workstations in accordance with salon safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance, and upsell retail products.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all health and safety regulations related to sanitation and disinfection procedures.
• Stay current on industry trends such as nail art techniques, new product offerings like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and advanced services like eyelash extensions or body waxing.
• Assist with retail sales by recommending products that support nail health or enhance the client's overall beauty routine.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and proper disinfection procedures.
• Familiarity with color theory, nail art design, and current trends in nail fashion.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their individual needs.
• Experience working within salon safety protocols and maintaining high standards of sanitation.
• Knowledge of additional beauty treatments such as pedicure services, hair styling, eyelash extensions, or skin treatments is a plus.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while providing outstanding customer service.
