Job summary

Barla Barla Nails is seeking a skilled Nail Technician to provide manicures, pedicures, acrylics, and gel applications, while delivering exceptional client service in a clean, welcoming setting.

You will advise clients on nail color choices, keep tools and stations sanitized, and participate in upselling services such as nail art and waxing to boost client satisfaction and store revenue.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by CT state regulations.
• At least 2 years or more of experience.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service principles.
• Familiarity with additional beauty services such as facial waxing and bodily waxing is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to demonstrate retail math skills for effective product sales management.

Compensation

This job role is commission-based. Commissions are distributed through a turn-based system. There's no guaranteed fixed salary, so earnings will vary due to performance, seasonality, customer demand, and business activity.
