Nail'd It Beauty Lounge in Kenvil, NJ is hiring a Nail Technician. The role involves trimming, shaping, and polishing nails, performing hand and foot massages, and recommending services to clients.

You will maintain a clean station, sterilize equipment, and assist with scheduling and payments. The ideal candidate can read and interpret client records, use basic computer tools (iPad, email, spreadsheets), and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer records and manuals.
• Basic computer usage including iPad and cell phone usage.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software; inventory systems and ordering platforms.

Clean, cut and shape nails; 3. Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style; 4. Remove previously applied polish; 5. Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments; 6. Sterilize equipment before use; 7. Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing); 8. Give hand and foot massages; 9. Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer); 10. Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate 11. Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences); 12. Accept and schedule appointments and payments; 13. Maintain a clean work space; 14. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct; 15. Some computer skills are required. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer usage, ipad usage, cell phone usage, word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventory software, internet use, email, order processing systems, billing software, and various computer programs/applications used by the Company and the Company’s vendors 16. Data entry skill required; 17. Reasoning ability is required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out directives of the Company’s Owner; 18. Language skills are required. The individual must have an ability to read and interpret documents such as customer records, instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and patients; 19.
