ALLIANT CYBERSECURITY is seeking a Data Scientist to analyze large business datasets, apply NAICS classifications, and build predictive models to identify opportunities. You will develop automated NAICS assignment processes and collaborate with sales and leadership to drive strategy.

The role requires strong Python/SQL, ML, and NLP skills, plus experience with large datasets and data quality improvement. A data-driven approach and effective communication are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, CS, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, or a related technical field.

Mansioni

• Analyze large datasets to identify business trends, industry patterns, and market opportunities.
• Utilize NAICS codes to accurately classify businesses by industry and sector.
• Develop automated processes to assign, validate, and update NAICS codes across company databases.
• Build predictive models to identify prospective clients and business development opportunities.
• Clean, organize, and standardize large volumes of company and industry data.
• Develop algorithms to match companies with appropriate NAICS classifications based on descriptions, products, and services.
• Use ML and NLP to improve industry classification accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies in NAICS classifications and recommend corrections.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, BD, and leadership to provide actionable insights.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Integrate info from external business databases and public datasets.
• Continuously improve data quality and classification methodologies.
