Job summary

ENECON Corporation is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a NACE/AMPP background to support and run jobs from scope to closeout, with a clear path to Project Manager. The role involves walking sites with the sales team, planning schedules, coordinating materials and subcontractors, and ensuring SSPC/AMPP quality standards on-site.

Responsibilities

• Walk sites with sales/PMs, take measurements and help build estimates.
• Plan and schedule jobs with Turnkey Operations Director; line up materials, equipment, subcontractors.
• Oversee on-site quality: SSPC/AMPP standards, mil and holiday testing, inspection reports and photo docs.
• Work with crew and customer from mobilization to final inspection; write completion report.
• Enforce site safety: confined spaces, fall protection, LOTO, PPE.

Job description

ENECON has re-built and protected critical industrial equipment for more than 35 years with engineered ceramic- and polymer-composite repair systems. We fix equipment instead of replacing it. Out of our Claymont, DE shop, our own crews work in water and wastewater plants, power generation, hospitals, data centers, food plants and commercial HVAC facilities from New Jersey to Washington, DC and Pittsburgh.

We are adding an Assistant Project Manager with a NACE/AMPP background to help run those jobs from scope to closeout, with a clear path to Project Manager.

What you will do

• Walk sites with our sales team and project managers, take measurements and help build the estimate.
• Help plan and schedule jobs with our Turnkey Operations Director, and line up materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Run quality on site: surface prep to SSPC/AMPP standards, mil and holiday testing, inspection reports and photo documentation.
• Work with the crew and the customer from mobilization through final inspection, and write the completion report.
• Enforce site safety: confined space, fall protection, LOTO, PPE.

Requirements

• NACE CIP Level 1 or higher, or AMPP Certified Coating Inspector (current).
• About 3 years in industrial coatings, linings or composite repair, as an inspector, QC tech, foreman or crew lead.
• Valid driver license and clean record; background check and drug screen.
• Regional travel across the Mid-Atlantic, with some overnights and outage/shutdown schedules.

Preferred

• Water/wastewater, power or HVAC/mechanical experience.
