ZipApply is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our in‑house accounting function in Villa Rica, Georgia. This hands‑on role partners with ownership to provide strategic financial guidance, improve processes, and deliver timely, accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will oversee month‑end closes, budgeting, revenue recognition, and cash forecasting while mentoring the accounting team in a fast‑paced, in‑office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of construction or project-based accounting experience.
• CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, Work in Process (WIP), revenue recognition, and month-end close.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of approximately 5-10 employees.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to both manage and execute.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting systems experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information in a clear, practical manner.
• Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
