Job summary

Cal Poly seeks a seasoned mental health professional to establish the Mustang Mental Health Response (MMHR) program, reporting to the Director of Counseling & Psychological Services. The role includes development, coordination with campus and community partners, and creating procedures and an evaluation plan for a comprehensive student support initiative.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and CA licensure or eligible in CA for LPCC/LCSW/LMFT or psychology licensure.
• Experience providing crisis assessment and intervention with college students.
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate campus mental health programs and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish the Mustang Mental Health Response program with campus/community partners.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, stabilization, and consultation within campus housing as needed.
• Oversee program maintenance, evaluation, and continuous improvement over time.
• Coordinate referrals to CAPS and other clinicians or community services as appropriate.
