ViaQuest Community Solutions is seeking licensed Music Therapists (MT-BC) to join a leading interdisciplinary therapy team across Indiana. Opportunities include home and community-based services with hybrid options in Muncie and Lafayette, offering flexible scheduling and strong mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy.
• Board Certification (MT-BC).
• Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout your assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized music therapy services in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans.
• Utilize a strengths-based clinical approach.
• Support growth in communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, coping skills, motor development, cognitive functioning, attention and focus, body awareness.
• Use music to promote neurological functioning and improve communication between brain and body.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate as an active member of each individual's support team.

What You'll Do

As a Music Therapist with ViaQuest, you'll use evidence-based music therapy interventions to help individuals achieve meaningful goals and improve their quality of life.

• Providing individualized music therapy services in home and community settings
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers
• Developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans
• Utilizing a strengths-based clinical approach
• Supporting growth in:
  • Communication
  • Social interaction
  • Emotional regulation
  • Coping skills
  • Motor development
  • Cognitive functioning
  • Attention and focus
  • Body awareness and coordination
• Using music to promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement
• Maintaining accurate documentation and participating as an active member of each individual's support team

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy
• Board Certification (MT-BC)
• Valid Indiana driver's license
• Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance
• Willingness to travel throughout your assigned service area

Preferred

• Experience providing Medicaid Waiver services
• Experience with Neurologic Music Therapy
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
