Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI seeks a qualified Music Therapist to develop, administer, and coordinate music activities and programs within the Adult Palliative, Oncology, and Pain Management focus, with back-up support to the Children’s Hospital Music Therapist. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy and Board Certified MT credentials, with licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develops, administers, and coordinates music activities and programs.

• Implements an individualized music therapy treatment plan that aligns with other developmental, rehabilitative, medical or educational services.
• Promotes family-centered care and strengthens coping and resiliency skills within the healthcare setting.
• Provides ongoing assessment of interventions used.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy required.

Certification as Music Therapist – Board Certified required from the Certification Board for Music Therapists. In North Dakota, licensure as a Music Therapist with the State Board of Integrative Health Care required.
