The Music Therapist I at UNC Health provides evidence-based evaluation and treatment to patients and caregivers, and delivers student shadowing and staff training. Located in Chapel Hill, this full-time role supports the Recreational Therapy Admin.

You will participate in continuing education and outreach, uphold safety and documentation standards, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs. A Bachelor's in Music Therapy with internship and MT-BC certification are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy (includes internship).
• Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) per Board of Music Therapists.

Mansioni

• Performs chart reviews and patient assessments; develops goals and treatment plans.
• Implements individual or group music therapy interventions.
• Documents patient progress and adjusts goals as needed.
• Collaborates with patient and treatment team for discharge planning.
• Consults with interdisciplinary team on therapy interventions.
• Provides precepting and teaching for students and staff.
