Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, provide, and evaluate developmentally appropriate and culturally-sensitive music therapy interventions with pediatric patients and their families.
  • Provide individual, group, and family music therapy sessions at bedsides, in playrooms, and other locations as appropriate.
  • Adapt music therapy interventions to suit the patient's unique needs and abilities.
  • Provide clinical supervision to music therapy students, interns, and other trainees/volunteers.
  • Help create a welcoming environment in various pediatric settings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
  • MT-BC license (Board Certified).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in community-based services for young children and their families (preferred).
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to take a course within six months.
  • Current NPI or ability to apply for one.
  • Valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered and insured vehicle for work-related purposes.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
