Share Music Therapy is working to cultivate a collaborative team environment with policies that are built to support MT-BC's in not only surviving, but thriving.

We tailor our part-time positions to your unique strengths and passions as much as possible, because therapists do their best work when they feel professionally supported.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Board-Certified Music Therapist to provide therapeutic services, primarily serving kids and adults with special needs. We will also support you in working with your preferred population if you have additional areas of expertise.

This is a collaborative role that will begin with a low case load (8-10 hours per week of direct service) but expand to 12-18 hours of direct service per week within 8 months. We plan to offer a full time position in addition to other part-time staffing positions within 2 years, supporting upward mobility and your potential for growth in a team environment.

We offer in-clinic music therapy in San Francisco at Ocean Avenue Health & Wellness. We also offer in-home and in-facility sessions. The music therapist must work a hybrid schedule in clinic and visiting homes or facilities.

Your income is protected by our 48-hour cancellation policy (with 1 exception per client per calendar year).

Bonuses are available throughout the year for referring/bringing on new clients to our practice.

Please ensure that your cover letter or resume lists 2 professional references (MT-BC preferred) including email addresses and phone numbers.

  • Document all clinical interventions accurately in medical records following HIPAA guidelines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for diverse populations.
