Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Evaluate, intervene, consult, and deliver services as required by the school districts, community agencies, and HCDE.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Board certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Effective/efficient oral and written communication
• Reliable transportation to/from work and between work-sites
• Efficient mobility within the work-site
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
• General knowledge of computer systems and software applications
• Ability to serve as professional student supervisor

Experience:

• Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirable
