Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons across drums, guitar, keyboard, and more using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum. You will help grow student counts and foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, and musical passion within the store.

Collaborating with the Lessons Lead, you will schedule students, support customer service, and communicate progress with students and families to ensure ongoing engagement and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off community needs.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
