Job summary

Guitar Center in Austin is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons per the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, grow student headcount, and foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

You will partner with the store Lessons Lead, teach instruments such as drums, guitar, bass, and keyboard, and provide excellent customer service to develop long-term student relationships and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in music, education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard).
• Demonstrated competency and effectiveness in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Increase student count and ensure continued growth and engagement.
• Foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion and respect.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount.
• Assist with customer service to build long-term student relationships.
