Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) seeks a Music teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is full-time, on-site in Bel Air, MD, with duties including planning, delivering, and assessing music instruction for diverse learners in a safe and engaging environment.

The candidate should hold or be eligible for Maryland teaching credentials, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient with instructional technology and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Hold or be eligible for a teaching certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education.
• Excellent communication with students, families and staff; strong written and verbal skills.
• Proficient with instructional technology and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Plans, prepares and delivers instruction that facilitates active learning and appropriate experiences.
• Supervises students in a variety of school-related settings.
• Manages student behavior by establishing and enforcing classroom expectations and procedures.
• Assigns and grades class work, homework, assessments and assignments.
• Maintains and updates records as required by laws and district policies.
• Collaborates with staff and parents to support student learning and safety.
