Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to deliver lessons in accordance with the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to grow the student base while cultivating a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

You will collaborate with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain students, teach proficiently on instruments such as drums, guitar, or keyboard, and contribute to excellent customer service to foster long-term student relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons following the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
