We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join the Manhattan Citadel Corps. The role involves providing individual and group musical instruction, leading the Corps Brass Band and Singing Company, and supporting youth participation in music programs and competitions. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, facilitating 'Music Sundays,' preparing students for competitions, supporting youth in arts programs, recording program statistics, assisting with fundraising and events, and other duties as assigned by the Corps Officer.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Basic office skills, including computer proficiency
• Minimum Associate Degree in a related field, or two years of college in education or youth work, or equivalent experience
• Musical ability in Brass Band, Theory, Vocal, and other instruments (Piano, Guitar, Bass, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, initiative, flexibility, dependability, creativity, and the ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to support and connect with campers, staff, and leaders
• Self-motivated and hardworking
