Anne Arundel County Public Schools seeks a dedicated TEACHER: MUSIC to provide K-12 instrumental and vocal instruction. The role includes planning lessons, coaching orchestras and choirs, and assessing student progress. Some virtual instruction may be required.

The educator will collaborate with parents and staff, participate in meetings, and maintain records in compliance with school policies. Travel to Maryland sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in education or related field required.
• Ability to teach music theory and practical instrumental/vocal lessons.
• Experience with virtual learning technology and remote instruction platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Willingness to travel to Maryland sites as necessary.

Responsabilités

• Plan and present music lessons and instructional materials.
• Lead rehearsals and coach orchestra/choir members.
• Assess and document student progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with parents and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and committees.
• Deliver instruction via virtual/remote platforms if required.
