Job summary

Music & Arts in Baton Rouge is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to create engaging, safe learning environments. You will teach lessons, foster growth, and build relationships with students and their families.

You will partner with store teams to schedule lessons, support retention, and share your musical expertise to inspire the next generation of musicians. A Bachelor’s in Music Education or related field and teaching experience are required, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of music teaching experience.
• 8+ years of teaching experience with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
