Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to teach lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count and ensure each student grows, develops, and enjoys playing music while upholding our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

The role requires 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or a Bachelor’s Degree, ability to pass Guitar Center training, and proficiency in drums, guitar, or keyboard.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard)

Responsibilities

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off the needs of the community
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience
• Additional duties as assigned
