Job summary

Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA seeks a part-time Event and Studio Technician to support the School of Music’s recording sessions, labs, classes, ensembles, and recitals. The role focuses on hands-on studio support, equipment care, and professional service to professors and students.

Work hours are 12-18 per week; starting pay is $12.77 per hour. A high school diploma and 1-2 years' experience are preferred. This team-based role is onsite and campus-facing.

Qualifications

• Experience with studio or live sound reinforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for all recording sessions and student labs in the recording studio.
• Check students in and out of lab times.
• Ensure facility and equipment are in proper working order after student use.
• Troubleshoot and provide general care for the Recording Studio and Songwriting Labs.
• Track studio equipment and supply needs.
• Complete studio related tasks as assigned.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness with equipment and rooms.
• Provide excellent customer service to the professors and students.
