Guitar Center in Illinois seeks a Technician to repair rental instruments in a timely, proficient manner, returning them to good playing order.
You may specialize or work on multiple instrument types, requiring a high school diploma and an apprenticeship or repair school diploma, plus 2 years of daily instrument repair experience. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour plus location-based commission, with robust benefits.
The purpose of this job is to repair musical instruments in a timely and proficient manner so that the instrument is returned in good playing order. A technician can specialize in one type of instrument, or work on multiple types.
