Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Instructor to teach music lessons under the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum and help students grow their musical abilities. You will work to increase student count while delivering a positive, inclusive learning environment that aligns with our culture of integrity and respect.

You’ll communicate progress to students and their families, support customer service to retain students, and perform additional duties as assigned to ensure high-quality lessons.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).

Responsibilities

• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Communicate with students or parents of students on progress of each student (where applicable).
• Assist with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
