Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum and to grow student count while fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, and musical passion. You will partner with families to align goals and progress, and you will help maintain a positive, engaging learning environment in-store.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument that they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs with the Lessons Lead.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Partner with students and families through frequent communication and goal sharing.
