Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Instructor to teach music lessons across our curriculum and to grow a thriving student base in a welcoming, inclusive environment. You will foster a culture of musical passion and integrity while helping students develop and enjoy playing music.

As an Instructor, you will teach across drums, guitar, and keyboard, communicate student progress to families, address service issues, and support the studio's goals with initiative and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency in the area they will be teaching (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).

Responsibilities

• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Communicate with students or parents on progress of each student.
• Assist with customer service issues, helping to maintain long term students.
• Additional duties as assigned.
